In our film we must choose appropriate music to create the mood and atmosphere that we want. Thrillers typically use a lot of non-diegetic sound to create suspense and build up tension, and our film should follow that convention. The music often builds up to be more dramatic. This is often included in lots of films, specifically at big revealing points in the story. An example of this is here:
